Sun City Concern is the link between seniors and service providers who are trained and experienced.

Concern Alert will utilize an emergency file to alert family or responsible party in a crisis situation.

Sun City Concern provides the following services.  Select each for more information.

• Information/Assistance & Referral Registry
  
  Sun City Concern provides referrals to local services such as caregivers, homemakers, craftsmen, handymen, tradesmen, drivers, shopping services, and gardeners. Background checks are required for all service providers that are used on our registry. Information on area residential care facilities and community services can also be provided.

• Outreach Program
  
  This program provides one-on-one assessment of needs for the at-risk older adult who requires information/assistance and/or guidance of community resources to help maintain their independence. This program is staffed by highly trained individuals who possess extensive knowledge of community services.

• Volunteer Opportunities
  
  Sun City Concern hosts a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for those who desire to help others in our community. Volunteers are also involved in all of our programs, as well as bingo, office assistance, and fund-raising.

• Telephone Reassurance Program
  
  This program offers a friendly call, providing a sense of security to those who sign up for this service. A designated time is established with the client for the reassurance call. A record of confidential emergency contacts is requested from the client to maintain a line of communication, should an emergency arise.

• Gatekeeper Program
  
  The Gatekeeper Program trains employees of local businesses, banks, churches, post offices, service clubs, hospitals, and others to recognize the signs of the at-risk older adult. These trained employees will call Sun City Concern to establish a referral to the Outreach Program staff. Staff will then contact the individual to assess their needs.

• Friendly Visitor Program
  
  The Friendly Visitor Program offers a weekly visit by a trained Sun City Concern volunteer to a senior who may be lonely or isolated and would benefit from a smiling face and a friendly visit.

• Bus trips
  
  Join Sun City Concern for an exciting and fun-filled day! Meet new people with interests much like your own. Bus trips are scheduled by the Bus Trip Coordinator. Call 951-679-6055 for details of upcoming trips. You may obtain the monthly Bus Trip flyer from Sun City Concern or from the front desk of Kay Ceniceros Senior Center.

• Bingo
  
  Sun City Concern would like to invite you to play Bingo! Bingo is held every Wednesday from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Doors open at 12:30 PM and registration begins at 12:45 PM. Play for BIG payouts, specials, drawings and giveaways! Plan to join us for fun and surprises at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center, 29995 Evans Road, Sun City.
